Smart Packing; The Light Traveler
Spread out everything you think you might need, scrutinize each item and ask yourself, "Do I really need this?" not that you are not using it, but will you use it enough for the whole trip? Make distinction from what you really need most and not then start packing in smart way to save space.
Fold VS. Roll
In packing your garments for travel, if you usually fold it, now try rolling. This may save you more space for other things you need to bring along like shoes, toiletries, gadgets, documents, and an extra space later on for souvenirs just in case you might have interest of after seeing it from the places you will be visiting to avoid disappointments after buying it and realizing you don't have enough space for it.
Shoes and Socks
Small things can sometimes make a big difference. How do you pack your shoes and socks? Roll it, then place it in your shoes, you might be able to fit in 6 pairs of your socks to your shoes.
Shoes and Dirt
Travel neatly even mixing your shoes to your garments. How do protect your garments from the dirt of your shoes? Simply wrap your shoes with your shower cap.
Protect your garments, documents, and expensive gadgets from liquid spoilage from your shampoo, lotion, insect repellent spray, and etc. Simply take off the the cover of each bottle, cover the lid with plastic wrapper then put the back original cover.
Attending social activities may be part of some of your travel. Bringing along jewelries and protecting it from tangling is must. How? Take a drinking straw and insert one end of your necklace till it reach the other end of the straw then lock it.
Travel wont be that fun and exciting until things get f**ked up! Loosing some important documents is a pain in the a**. Back up your documents by scanning it and saving an electronic copy of it on your USB and as well as on your email.
